When we think about product engineering, our focus is on building quality products. In a modern competitive business landscape, quality plays a crucial role. This is why Apple, for example, is a market leader and its products are loved by millions. As such, SLASSCOM Quality Forum is organising the SLASSCOM Quality and Business Excellence Summit for 2019. Here’s what to expect.

All about Quality Engineering

Inaugurated in 2010, this year would be the 4th iteration of SLASSCOM’s Quality and Business Excellence Summit. The theme for 2019 is “Accelerate End User Experience through Quality Engineering”. The event expects to cover a wide range of topics such as UI and UX, Quality Assurance in AI, Six Sigma, building a quality robot, and more.

Among the host of speakers, the event will feature three keynotes. Dan Cuellar will be one of them to take the spotlight at the summit. Dan is the Founder of Appium, an open source tool that helps you automate mobile and desktop applications. Dan’s talk will focus on his experience in being part of an open source project for 7 years.

Following Dan will be Dr Rainer Deutchmann, Chief Operating Officer at Dialog Axiata. His session will revolve around the concept of continuous improvement and implementing it within your organization. The third keynote will be delivered by Manoj Kumar, Lead Technical Specialist and Evangelist at Applitools. He will be talking about all things UI and UX to build well-designed products that your end-user will love.
