WSO2 Seeks to Help the Sri Lankan IT Industry Grow Stronger with its New Training Program

A titan of the Sri Lankan IT industry, WSO2 is a global leader in digital transformation technology. Its products are utilised by multinationals globally, and many more iconic names. Towards its commitment to developing local talent, WSO2 is launching a six-month training program in Linux Systems Administration and DevOps Engineering. 

An introduction to the program

The program is free of charge to join and is designed for senior undergraduates and new professional Linux system administrators, and DevOps engineers. You can register by clicking here.

Over six months, participants will learn critical skills and technical know-how to manage Linux systems and DevOps. To develop these skills, the course will feature detailed instructional content alongside hands-on exercises. The course will be delivered online and will consist of 50+ hours of online classes.

The course will consist of over 50 hours of online classes. Students are required to invest an additional 200+ hours in practical work towards developing their knowledge. 

Applications to join the program are open until the 6th of June. Lectures will commencer on the 17th of June. Until the deadline, you can register by clicking here. 

To enter, applicants will have to submit a 300-word cover letter. In the letter, applicants should explain why they are interested in joining the program and pursuing a Linux systems administration and DevOps engineering career. WSO2 recommends participants include any prior exposure they’ve had in these areas. Shortlisted candidates will then face a Linux-based challenge to shortlist the final participants.
