Inside MiTech Tuesdays by MillenniumIT ESP

Over the past decade, the technology industry has grown at unprecedented rates. However, in this white-hot industry, just a handful of businesses have been at the forefront of building Sri Lanka’s reputation from the very beginning.  MillenniumIT ESP is one such entity that has risen to the upper echelons of the Sri Lankan business ecosystem, originally as a leading systems integrator and since this year repositioned as a complete Enterprise Solutions Provider. The company provides several cutting-edge solutions around Core Infrastructure, Cloud Technology, Cyber Security, Enterprise Applications, Intelligent Automation and Data, Smart Buildings, and Managed Services.

With a rich history of over 25 years, MillenniumIT ESP now stands at the forefront of the industry as a titan. Over the decades, the company has built a strong track record in several industries such as Banking & Finance, Telecommunications & Media, Manufacturing & Retail, Government, and Commercial Sector. Recently, the company took the steps needed to form a conduit through which MillenniumIT ESP could share its decades-long expertise. Thus, the MiTech Tuesdays series was conceived.

MiTech Tuesdays – The story thus far

MillenniumIT ESP developed the MiTech Tuesdays platform to shine a light upon the most pertinent and trending matters within the IT industry. The initiative brought together experts on various topics and saw them taking the time to share their perspectives of current trends and what’s yet to come. Since September, there have been four webinars under this initiative.

The MiTech Tuesdays series has thus far tackled issues such as the low-code no-code movement. Featuring the Director – Innovations at MillenniumIT ESP, Calvin Hindle, the inaugural episode of the series explored a trend that has grown in popularity in recent years. Its rise is due to the democratization of the development capabilities into the hands of citizen developers. This makes it easier for people with a basic to no background in coding to implement changes into their businesses without having to wait for the help of a software development company to assist them.

Another excellent example of MiTech Tuesdays disseminating cutting edge knowledge and expertise is with the topic of hyper-automation and its impact in the business place. With hyper-automation,  Associate Director – Intelligent Automations at MillenniumIT ESP, Danura Lunuwilage, discussed it at a session on how this movement will transcend the typical process automation. In doing so, integrating a new tier of holistic efficiency by enabling automation of virtually any repetitive task executed by business users, bringing forth a new level of productivity to the workplace.

From Artificial Intelligence to Intelligent Automations, MiTech Tuesdays delves into the most exciting aspects of the tech industry. It does not hold back in terms of exploring all the facets that lie in wait.
